The Item Tracked Flushing app makes it possible to automatically consume tracked items during production in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Whether you’re using forward or backward flushing, this app makes sure the right tracked inventory is consumed based on rules you control.
Setting Priorities for Tracked Items
Once installed, the app allows you to assign priority to tracked items based on expiration date, bin, location, lot number and more. During production, items are consumed automatically based on the component’s flushing method or routing link code. You can rely on automatic priority assignments or set priorities manually when needed. If the Warehouse License Plating app is installed, you can even require that only tracked items in a default package be eligible for automatic consumption, adding a layer of control to the process.
