NIC Systems Newsletter

Summer’s in full swing, and so are updates across NIC Systems apps and tools. This month, we’re continuing our shift toward Word report layouts, launching a new app for tracked inventory flushing, and releasing new training content to help you get more out of Business Central.

Word Layouts Are Here

As part of our ongoing commitment to align with Microsoft’s strategic direction and to enhance user experience, we’re transitioning our Business Central reports from RDLC to Word layouts. Once an app is installed or updated, there’s nothing you need to do, Word layouts will automatically be set as the default report format.

The following apps now support Word report layouts:

Minor updates were also made to some apps. See the full release notes.

Introducing Our 30th App

Item Tracked Flushing App

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central doesn’t natively support flushing for tracked inventory, creating a critical gap for manufacturers working with lot, serial, or package-tracked items.

The new Item Tracked Flushing app bridges that gap by enabling automatic consumption of tracked items during production, whether you’re using forward or backward flushing.
