NIC Systems Newsletter

Welcome to the September edition of the NIC Systems newsletter! This month brings exciting updates, a look at what’s coming next, and helpful tips to get the most out of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and our apps.

Release Updates

The September releases are now live! Here are a few highlights:

  • FoodChain ID Connector: Companies using our connector app can now map FoodChain ID allergens to allergen codes in the Allergens app. This means allergens are automatically assigned to items when imported from FoodChain ID.
  • Direct Print App: Completely rebuilt to make it easier to define your own hostname and port number. Direct Print lets you print straight from your Mobile Data Collection handheld, no user interaction required.
  • Mobile Data Collection (MDC): Updated word reports are now available.

Coming Soon

TEKLYNX SENTINEL Connector

A new app is on the way! Soon you’ll be able to connect Business Central directly with the TEKLYNX SENTINEL app for faster, easier label printing. SENTINEL automates printing, eliminates manual entry, and ensures accurate data across your entire enterprise.

Keep an eye out, the release is coming soon!
